Google acquired Quickoffice in June, 2012. "Quickoffice includes a strong base of customers, and that we anticipate supporting them in the end focus on a much more seamless, intuitive and integrated experience," the organization stated at that time.

For non-Google Applications and Business customers, Google provides a Quickoffice Professional for iOS and Android for ?11.03 that provides similar functionality. It is a nice way to defend myself against Apple's Pages, Keynote, and Amounts applications for iOS.
