Facebook intends to continue its mobile application regime, with another - this time around centered on location.?
Based on Bloomberg, Menlo Park-based Facebook is creating a mobile location monitoring application, much like Apple's Find My Buddies.
The service would move forward away from the business's current group of geo-location features, including check-inches and geotagged posts, to permit customers to trace?every others'?location without anyone's knowledge. Obviously, customers would need to opt-in.
Facebook's?mobile product manager Peter Deng is stated to become heading in the project that also includes team people of former Foursquare competitor Gowalla, which Facebook bought this year.?
Given Facebook's current stack of mobile applications including the native Facebook application, Messenger, Instagram, Facebook Pages Manager, Camera, and Snapchat-competitor Poke, location appears a really likely arena for the organization.
The application is stated to produce in mid-March, most probably on the Application Store and Google Play.
